hi all,
been a long long time since i updated my info....
yahoooooooo i got my student multi entry visa and it expires on march 2007...
my flight ticket has been confirmed and i am to leave india on july 5 th...
right now am in my home and leaving tonight to chennai.i have to attend a pre departure seminar
by my consultants.hope that seminar will provide some usefull info.i have planned to return back
on wednesday night.will leave again on 2nd.mom and dad will be staying in shruti's
house.yesterday i got a net connection from bsnl.fuckers still broadband has not come here.i
found that even the equioment for broadband is being expceted in the excahnge.i assume it will
take another 4 to 5 months before anybody gets a broad band.have bought a 2 year bsnl
account.surfing hours are free everynight from 11 to 6 and during sundays and national holidays.
apart from that i will have 100 hours srfing time during the day hours.have to teach mom and dad
as how to use net.will teach next week when i come.
a lot of things still has to be done.i have to buy shoes, sandals, dress, bags.i have to learn some
basic cooking.i have to go and collect my tickets at thomas cook office.i will buy some more
clothes.i have fixed a permanent accomodation at calyton.its a 8 bedroom house.seems all basic
utensils and other amenities have been provided.my bedroom has a heater, linen.bed stuff and
other esentials.o think its enough.my aim in australia is to get placement and to gain a permanent
residentship.in the mean time i have to find a part time job.hope everything goes as planned.i
think it will take a month or 2 for me to get accustomed with the environment after that i dont see
any difficulty.
steven has told that he would come and pick me up at the airport.hope other students who stay
there will be ok o move with.i can also find lots of indians there.have to form a gang there.
i have quit the job at HCLT last week.i was working in a newzealand project.it was at a very very
critical stage at that time.as i have allready mentioned in one of my postings i releived myslef.i
didnt get letter of any sort.no need.who cares.even if i need one i can produce one for myself.no
big deal.10 months of experience doesnt count much.i had a great send off party.i had a very nice
team who really understood my situation.poor murali...being a project manager he didnt have
anyother choice.have to phone to ragav to get a model releiving letter.he will do it.even sunil has
put his papers.i dunno what will happen to service delivery.the newbies have to get trained in the
existing systems to carry out some usefull work.suraj is one big ligh bulb of an ass.he will
struggle a great deal i am sure about that.he doesnt even know the basic comcepts.
nobody in my team expected me to put the papers.but they were heartly wishing me for my
future.i even meet sabita our damned HR.man the way she talks...at one point of time i even
thought that why i came to meet her.theres nothing wrong in their talking.they have to do their
job.though initially i didnt like my job later stage i began to like it.what to do.if better
oppurtunities come then we have to move out.madhu the HR called me and asked me to come
back.all those people were trying to persuade me to stay for atleast 3 weeks.but it was out of
question for me.these project managers and HR's are cunning people.at first the mistake was in
my part.as per the company rules i should have given a notice period of 50 days.i didnt do that.i
gave 5 days.poor fellows what can they do...i dunno as what thiru is doing regarding the
newzealand project.sunil doesnt know much and he is going.think sasi would be doing it...
sunil is a nice guy.due to his bad experience he is leaving the company.since he has a experience
of 5 years he has to serve his notice period to get his experience certificate.for me who cares...
last week i went to mayajaal to see "batman begins".was a nice movie.the storyline was
good.went to bowling and scored 106.aanand and i were the top scorers.
i have to see arvind's face when i told him that i got my visa.mother fucker...there was some
form of disappointment along with sadness.dey, everything is fate da...nothing is in my hands...
shruti told that my visa was granted in a very short period of time.i was wondering as why it was
taking such a long time...the documents that we furnished were pakka...thats the main reason for
my visa processing to be done very very qucikly...
my passport has come stamped and have to collect it on monday.have to speak with sanchita
regarding boarding assistance...
nothing much...
c ya later...
